It’s about relationships.” In 2003, Ed ran for Mayor of Dallas, emphasizing public safety, budget management, job creation, neighborhood revitalization, international trade, and education. He began his U.S. journey as a busboy at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas, a role he humorously misunderstood as “boss-boy,” thinking he would be supervising others. In 2021, Governor Greg Abbott appointed him to the State Securities Board, recognizing his expertise in real estate and finance.
